This key features the H60-style standard edge-cut blade profile with an integrated aftermarket-compatible ID4C transponder chip. It is intended for select early Ford PATS applications and requires both mechanical key cutting and vehicle-specific transponder programming before use.

The ID4C chip alone does not determine compatibility. Ford used the same general 4C transponder technology with several different mechanical key profiles, including the much more common H72 8-cut family.
